Financial Package
- 1st-year Package – Approx 4.76 lakh
- Upgradation up to approx Rs 6.92 lacs in 4th year
Allowances
- Risk & Hardship, Ratio, Dress, Travel allowances as applicable
Seva Nidhi
- 30% of the monthly emoluments to be contributed by Individual persons
- The equal amount matched & contributed by the government
- Corpus of approx Rs 11.71 lacs after four years exempted from Income Tax
Death Compensation
- Noncontributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 Lakhs
- Additional Ex Gratia of Rs 44 Lakhs for Death attributable to service
- Pay for the unserved portion for up to four years including the Seva Nidhi Component
Disability Compensation
Compensation based on % disability laid down by medical authorities
One-time ex gratia of Rs 44/25/15 Lacs for 100%/75%/50% disability respectively

Indian Army Benefits of Agniveer Scheme (Agnipath) 2022
- Young Indians whose age is between 17.5-23 years old can apply in this Indian Army Agneepath Agniveer Scheme 2022-23.
- Agneepath will allow the young men to serve in the Indian Army for a period of four years.
- Candidates who become Agniveer will get a 10% reserve on recruitment in Assam Rifles after 4 years.
- Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and other states will also give preference to Agniveer in police department recruitment.
- LIC (Life Insurance): Army Agniveers will receive a life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakhs for the duration of their engagement period as Agniveers in the Indian Army.
- Army Agniveer Leave: Annual: 30 days, of sick leave. Based on medical advice.
